Zoom Cocktails with Helen McGinn

The Friends are proud to host the incredible Helen McGinn, author of The Knackered Mother’s Wine Club, who has offered to teach us all how to make a warming Christmas hot toddy and tell us a little bit about her favourite wines.
The evening will look something like this:
20:00 Helen will chat about festive cocktail/wine ideas and walk us through making our own Christmas Hot Toddy (ingredients below).
Helen will be coming with a glass of wine and we invite you to bring your own beverage to get the evening started.

About Helen McGinn
Helen writes an award-winning wine blog and has written a best-selling wine book. She is an ex-supermarket wine buyer and spent almost a decade sourcing wines around the world. She then spent the next half-decade pregnant.
Helen is an international wine judge and writes about drinks for the Daily Mail and various other magazines. She makes regular TV appearances including BBC1’s Saturday Kitchen and ITV’s This Morning. Her first fiction novel is due to be published in March 2021.
